"Vladivostok-Avia Company has been granted a compliance certificate with regard to Airbus aircraft maintenance"

“Vladivostok-Avia” Company has been granted a compliance certificate with regard to Airbus aircraft maintenance carried out in compliance with EU standards.

European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) has conferred the status of a Maintenance Repair Organization complying with EASA Part-145 Regulations to “Vladivostok-Avia” engineering and maintenance complex. Maintenance Organization Approval Certificate No EASA Part.145.0391 received by the company, enables it to carry out independent line maintenance, including the performance of "C"-checks, aircraft units and components replacement and repair of A318, A319, A320 and A321 Airbus aircraft with equipped with CFM56 engines, at its own facilities in Vladivostok.

Certification process included full upgrade of the company’s engineering and maintenance services material base, documentation and personnel qualifications to EASA standards followed by a detailed inspection. This spring, the Company was inspected by a special unit of French National Aviation Authorities accredited at EASA. The results of the inspection were submitted to EASA Head Quarters in Cologne to the attention of Approval Committee. All preparatory work for EASA certification of the Company's engineering and maintenance services was carried out under the guidance of Aviation Systems team of experts headed by Mr. S.N. Potapov.

EASA Approval Certificate enables the company to perform maintenance of its foreign aircraft registered in the countries covered by EU EASA Part-145 Regulations. The Certificate confirms that the Company meets maintenance and quality system requirements, which ensure a high and uniform level of flight safety prescribed by EU standards.

Currently, the Company successfully operates three Airbus-320 aircraft. The technical acceptance team is completing the acceptance and checkout process with regard to the fourth aircraft. Besides, Company has already signed leasing contracts with ILFC and GECAS companies for the leasing of three additional А320-214 aircraft.

“Orenburg Airlines” FGUP Press-Release of November 8, 2007

"European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) Approval Certificate No 145.0392 has been granted to Orenburg Airlines FGUP (ORENAIR)"

European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) Approval Certificate No 145.0392 granted to “Orenburg Airlines” FGUP (ORENAIR) has confirmed the Company’s status of a Maintenance Repair Organization complying with EASA Part-145 Regulations.

In October 2007, Orenburg Airlines FGUP (ORENAIR) engineering and maintenance complex was inspected by a special unit of French National Aviation Authorities accredited at EASA. The results of the inspection were submitted to EASA Head Quarters in Cologne to the attention of the Approval Committee. EASA Approval Certificate enables the company to perform maintenance of its foreign aircraft registered in the countries covered by EU EASA Part-145 Regulations. The Company, which applies for the Approval Certificate under Certificate EU EASA Part-145 Regulations, must meet maintenance and quality system requirements, which ensure a high and uniform level of flight safety prescribed by EU standards.

Currently, Orenburg Airlines FGUP is entitled to perform line maintenance of Boeing 737-400/ Boeing 500 aircraft. EASA Approval Certificate will help Orenburg Airlines FGUP to save around 50 mln roubles, which the Company had to pay to subcontracting maintenance companies.

EASA Part-145 Approval Certificate was received within the target time due to the assistance of Aviation Services – Consulting experts. The French inspectors found only one shortcoming, which was promptly removed while the inspecting team was still at work. The French experts expressed a high opinion of the work accomplished by Orenburg Airlines FGUP in cooperation with Aviation Systems JSC during the preliminary stage of Part-145 requirements compliance certification.
