X International exhibition of Helicopter Industry HeliRussia 2017

From May 25 till May 27 in Moscow was held the anniversary 10^th International exhibition of helicopter industry HeliRussia 2017 – the largest industry exhibition in Europe which demonstrates the whole range of products and services of the helicopter industry. Pursuant to decree of the Russian Government, dated June 19, 2015 No. 1140-р the exhibition promoter is the Federal Industrial Agency of the Russian Federation. The title sponsor of the event is the holding «Russian Helicopters», the official partner is ExclasesHoldings. The exhibition was held upon initiative and with support of the Russian Helicopter Industry Association (HIA).

The anniversary exhibition has achieved the all-time record or its history: 237 companies took part in it, including 50 foreign companies from 21 countries of the world. On the exposition, 23 helicopters, 2 gyroplanes as well as 15 domestic and foreign-made unmanned flying vehicles were demonstrated. The amount of visitors reached 12 thousand people. In the scope of exhibition, for the first time new vehicles were demonstrated, signing of agreements, solemn ceremonies and awarding of prizes have been arranged, many round tables and conferences took place – more than 60 events in total.

No doubt, the main topic of the exhibition was a demonstration of helicopter vehicles, and HeliRussia 2017 has not disappointed the visitors who had the opportunity to see both the development of already well-know models and the completely new flying vehicles. On the exhibition, the new transport helicopter Mi-38Т and Mi-171А2 in offshore configuration as well as a set of four versions of the helicopter «Ansat»: passenger, medivac , and the option with the protective onboard equipment; another «Ansat» in VIP-configuration has performed the demonstration flights.

The employees of JSC "Aviasystems" have traditionally participated in the exhibition HeliRussia-2017. The future cooperation with the Czech company PBS VelkaBites was discussed during negotiations. The working meetings took place with participants of the pool Mi-8 including our partners’ air companies as Yamal and Aviashelf.

HeliRussia not only gives the opportunity to demonstrate the achievements of the Russian industry but also brings the best international companies to the Russian market, contributes to the development of the international cooperation in the helicopter industry. It enables meetings with the top managers of the industry, directors of the companies, and to discuss the issues of cooperation and interaction. The exhibition is a great place for conversation with the foreign partners where the Russian participants are able to set the pace and direction of the dialogue.
