Pool of spare parts for MI-8

JSC "Aviasystems" in cooperation with the leading aircraft has begun to create a Pool of spare parts for helicopters MI-8 MTV/AMT and MI-171/172. A memorandum was signed at the VII Forum helicopter organized by the Helicopter Industry Association "Partnership for Security" on 28.11.2014.
During the preliminary talks the Companies have decided to limit the number of participants in the Pool. As a result the proposal to sign the memorandum received aircrafts with an impeccable reputation. The Pool Operator "Aviasystems" in association with together with State Research Institute of Civil Aviation guarantees the authenticity of components combine spare parts of UAB "AK Aviashelf", "PANH Helicopters", LLC "LUKOIL-AVIA", LLC "GAZPROMAVIA  Aviation Company LTD", LLC "Aviation Company "Yamal", "JSC "UTair-Engineering". New companies will be admitted to participation in the Pool upon the approval of the candidate by all current members of the Pool only.
The need to limit the membership caused by the specifics of the market of helicopter components and concerns over the threat of appearance in the Pool inauthentic components. Authenticity of components announce in the Pool will be documented. Scanned copies of these documents will be posted on the information portal, which was started up in Spring 2014 and presented at the exhibition HeliRussia-2014.
There will be also available two types of rent services: renting component on a pre-agreed period, as well as the substitution on the term of repair failed component for companies – participants in addition to repair of spare parts. Also it’s possible to sale of Pool’s parts and in the short term - exchange serviceable component on the failed.
Similarly to the current Pool of spare parts for the TU-204/214, IL-96 and AN-140/148, which is operated by JSC "Aviasystems" the company will be calculated and logistics center among participants. In addition, the Operator acts as a level regulator of the reserve in the Pool, investing in spare parts as needed. It should be noted that the JSC "Aviasystems" is the first of the domestic companies that offers similar services for the MI-8 MTV/AMT, MI-171/172.
