International forum “Wings of the Future”
The managers of the consulting branch of JSC "Aviasystems" upon invitation of the organizers have participated in the international forum “Wings of the Future”, which took place on November 1-2, 2017 in the hotel “Rennaissance Moscow Monarch Centre”.
As part of the forum’s second day program, on the 10th international conference “Business Aviation Forum”, was introduced a report of the First Deputy of the General Director of JSC "Aviasystems" Sergei Potapov – “Review on the standard IS-BAO 2017. Aspects of requirements application for management companies and airlines”. The presentation was dedicated to review the current standards of IS-BAO 2017, and it outlines aspects of requirements application for management companies and airlines. The report was focused on the most important processes of implementation and aspects of IS-BAO standards application, aimed at optimization of the airline management processes:
• Flight safety management system;
• Three stages of certificates IS-BAO complicity;
• Aspects of requirements application for management companies;
• International acknowledgement of IS-BAO standards.
JSC "Aviasystems" is the only Russian company which experts have the complete accreditation and are allowed to conduct the audits in the following directions: flight operation, maintenance, flight safety management system of the II and III stage, for the companies that manage and/or operate aircraft and/or helicopters.
Application of IS-BAO standards for management companies allows demonstrating vividly to the existing or potential client the willingness to dedicate the most serious attention to the issues related to the flight safety provision and to use in this regard the state-of-the-art methods existing nowadays.
Due to this, the participants of the conference have shown large interest in the application of IS-BAO standard for management companies.
During the conference, Sergei Potapov also announced that the first stage of JSC "Aviasystems" expert’s accreditation as the only Russian auditors for standard IS-BAH was completed. This standard is applicable to the activity of the companies providing airport services for business aviation operators.
