On November 27, 2017 in Montreal, the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has made a decision to accredit the experts of JSC "Aviasystems" as auditors of IS-BAH (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling).

The JSC "Aviasystems" press service reports that, Conduction of the IS-BAH audits contributes to the implementation of the modern standards in the activity of the companies providing the airport services for business aviation operators FBO/BAHA.

This can be either airports or airport business aviation centres themselves or agents, which provide the ground handling, services for business aviation aircraft. Nowadays there are only 44 accredited IS-BAH auditors in the world, two of which are experts of JSC "Aviasystems". The company explained that now JSC "Aviasystems" may conduct audits both for business aviation operators according to IS-BAO standards and for companies providing the airport services for business aviation operators FBO/BAHA according to IS-BAH standards.

First Deputy of the General Director Sergei Potapov commented this important event as follows: “Now we can help FBO/BAHA to demonstrate our clients the commitment to maintain the flight safety and quality of rendered services on the highest level. This will also help FBO/BAHA to engage new clients because the IS-BAH audit certificate witnesses the best practices on the enterprise, as well as quality and safety of the provided services enables competition with the global international players of the business aviation.”

The international standard IS-ВАН was elaborated as a code of rules for providers of services in the ground handling of the business aviation, which is based on the flight safety management system. IS-ВАН repeats the structure of the International standard of business aviation aircraft operation (IS-BAO) and includes the first safety program regarding ground handling of the US National Air Transport Association (NATA). IS-ВАН is the global branch standard for business aviation ground handling operators in the whole world and corresponds with requirements and international practice of ICAO, including requirements towards the flight safety management systems (SMS).
