MAKS-2019 International Aviation and Space Salon

 

The XIVth International Aviation and Space Salon, which took place from August 27 to September 01, 2019 is completed. The value agreements signed during the days of the salon's work exceeded 250 billion rubles, the business potential of the event is estimated at 400 billion rubles. The exhibition was attended by 578,810 participants and guests.

MAKS-2019 gathered 827 exhibitors from 33 countries including 184 foreign companies. For the first time in the history of MAKS salons, the exhibition is held with the partnership of the People's Republic of China. A specially erected pavilion with an area of 3 thousand sq. m represented a number of expositions of the largest PRC aerospace companies. Nine national pavilions have also been erected.

Within the framework of MAKS-2019 International Aviation and Space Salon, Aviasystems and the State Transport Leasing Company signed an agreement of intent to create a SSJ100 aircraft spare parts and consumables warehouse. This cooperation is planned to help with problem of drawing components and assembly units (T7) manufactured by Russian companies that are part of AO “GSS” cooperation structure (VASO, NAZ, KnAAZ). Of particular interest are airlines such as Yamal, Azimut, IrAero, Yakutia, Severstal, as well as operators such as SSJ 100 (Aeroflot, InrerJet (Mexico), Gazprom Avia, Aviation rescue company of EMERCOM of Russia, Russia special flight detachment, RusJet, aircraft manufacturers and maintenance companies (GSS JSC, SJI, S7 Engineering, Tulpar, Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow and others.

MAKS has traditionally become a place for concluding aircraft equipment supply agreements, as well as documents that lay the foundation for further mutually beneficial cooperation. The largest deals were made for MC-21 and Superjet 100 aircraft, as well as for Mi-8AMT and Ansat helicopters.

81 aircraft took part in the MAKS-2019 flight program including 39 aircraft in eight aerobatic teams. The static display represented 133 aircraft. Taking into account the fact that some of the aircraft and helicopters were demonstrated both by static display and in flight display, the total number of represented aircraft reached 202.
